For dry interior work our MR grade eucalyptus ply performs well when cut edges are sealed and polished, and the dense core is more forgiving than a lighter sheet, though Assam's humidity makes edge sealing non negotiable. For kitchens, bathroom vanities, wash areas, ground floor units and anything in Silchar or the Barak valley we recommend stepping up to our BWP grade plywood, which is bonded with phenol formaldehyde resin.
Poplar ply uses a light poplar core and suits panelling, false ceilings and laminated furniture. Alternate ply mixes hardwood and poplar layers for a middle balance of weight and rate. Eucalyptus ply uses dense hardwood veneers right through, so it is the heaviest and strongest of the three, with the best screw holding for shelving, wardrobe carcass work and load bearing furniture.
